What are these red stringy things?

If your wondering what those stringy hair-like things are, could be a spaghetti worm. If it is, the worm does provide some benefits but if you want it gone, arrow crab or wrasse fish will hunt it down & eat it.

I have a six-line and an Emerald crab.. I guess they don't care for them. Will they multiply and do they get very big?

I’ve never had a six-line so I’m not sure if they have a taste for spaghetti. My melanarus loves hunting them down & because of my wrasse, I never get to see large spaghetti worms. The biggest I’ve seen was about 1/4” but it’s tentacles would reach out around 3-4”. You can usually pull them out when siphoning your sand. When I disturb my sand, the worms pop to the surface & my wrasse makes a quick snack out of them. You can probably pluck them out with some tweezers or turkey baster.
