What is this?

My tank is only 12 weeks old. I have a couple of small corals, 15 snails and crabs, a couple of tangs, and a couple of clowns. I dipped and inspected the corals before introducing them to the tank. I noticed this critter on the glass. Anyone know what it is?

Chiton,or limpet..chiton will look like armored,limpet will have cone body .

Is it ok to have in the tank. And where do you think it came from? I didn't use any live rock and I dipped and inspected the couple of corals I have in the tank.

They are really capable of protecting themselves from dips. They blend well with their surroundings. They aren't a pest, and great at doing their jobs.
Most likely riding on a coral.

They will probably become fish food more than anything else.
