Agreed. They are a pain in the butt....yet also sign of a healthy reef if they are growing....

Could be as well....I have tunicates in mine for years, but not quite same ..... clearer pic would be great, hard as it is to get.

I’m not sure if this pic helps also it’s growing pretty much on every coral and a few places on the rocks

Looks like some stringy sponge variety. Tunicates should retract when disturbed, sponges should not. Hydroid tubes grow from a cluster, sponge “tubes” grow off of a mat.

Much better picture! I’m changing my vote from hydroids to sponge. Bump up your camera resolution again and i might go with
a female mandarin with one eye missing!
