Totally new to reefing and saltwater. I’ve got a fluval flex 32.5 with live rock and sand. I added two clown last weekend. I’m 5 weeks in total. Cycling the last 10 days or so. Levels are very good. I do have a question though. On my live rock from our pet store I found this last night. No idea what it is. Any thoughts or ideas??? Please advise if it’s something I should be concerned about, thank you in advance.

Can't tell much from your pic, but maybe glass anemone? If so, kill it with prejudice.

Aptasia and one you want to eliminate before it multiplies.
Using a syringe, inject into the CENTER CORE, either lemon juice or preferably kalkwasser powder mixed into a past , the consistency of toothpaste.
It will melt away

Return it to the petstore, let them remove it or exchange the rock. you are 10 days in, easiest way to remove it.

Many pet stores can't afford this sort of return. You buy the rock, you get aptasia, urchins, or mantis shrimp. This sort of thing is dying out, but screwing over your local dealer does nothing for the hobby.

Another easy treatment is to pull the rock out, scrape or pry the bugger out and then put reef safe glue on the spot.
