Don't hydroids do some kind of jellyfish like thing and stick to glass sometimes?

I remember reading they do that sometimes.

Hydroid or pineapple sponge .

Last time I researched them they are bad if they are on the rocks. The jelly kind I THINK just kind of go away. Someone with more experience could give better insight.

This is a stage in their life where they go floating around. Usually new tanks they die off. Only would be a problem if they get out of control. They can sting.
