Could possibly be green cyano. Hard to tell under lighting. But if nothings eating it that would be my guess. What is your parameters? And how long are your lights on?
Agreed green Cyano.... not the end of the world. And can be dealt with... How long this tank up , stock and parameters as suggested.Oh right ... it's on the sand too ... yep, that looks like Cyanobacteria (I've only ever gotten the deep purple variety so I didn't even think of this when I saw the photo the first time!)

Im having a tough time thinking its cyano. Heres some better pics. I pulled out the piece of rock and its still rough like theres nothing on it. Tried to scrape some off with no luck, it doesnt come off. Its really imbedded.Agreed green Cyano.... not the end of the world. And can be dealt with...
