It is likely Neomeris or maybe Bornetella but more pictures will help (perhaps under less yellowish light).

Neomeris (notice the short filaments on the algae):

Sorry, I don't have any other pictures now. The tip is white.
I use natural seawater.

Hmmm… I am actually beginning to believe you have Bornetella and not Neomeris. The former can develop whitened tips while the latter develops slightly darkened tips.

Looks like you have a nice amount and of orange spot ricordia yuma be careful they can be aggressive!

Hmmm… I am actually beginning to believe you have Bornetella and not Neomeris. The former can develop whitened tips while the latter develops slightly darkened tips.

Now I am definitely inclined towards Bornetella (Sausage seaweed) (judging by the white tuft and the slight red coloration)! Nice find too, since it is incredibly rare in the hobby! According to the links in one of my earlier posts, it appears to prefer a similar environment to soft corals. About how fast would you say it grows?

It was first discovered on the 3rd of January. (Refer to photo) It had not been found before.

It seems to grow in about 3-4 weeks

It is now almost the same size as last week. Something similar is happening nearby.

On the last day of 2021, a large amount of water was exchanged with seawater, and it seems to have flowed in.
