I just bought this tank on Saturday off Facebook marketplace and he listed it as a live rock tank only. With no coral, and Monday morning I noticed I had a weird type of coral, I bought this tank knowing there was no coral in it because I did not want coral in it yet. When I woke up Monday morning there was some sort of an anemone coral I think. I just want to know what this is and if it would hurt my tank

That looks like a dying mushroom or carpet nem but im not sure. The seller said no corals in the tank so it is odd, maybe a hitchhiker, assuming the rocks came from the ocean.

It just showed up out of the blue. It was literally not their when I went to be 6 hours before that, what can I do to help it survive

Well hopefully someone can confirm if it is a coral or not but not much you can do really since it looks like it is attached to the big rock. Assuming its a coral or nem, try to keep your lights on for 6 hours at least and have stable parameters of course. Other than that there isnt much to do IMO.

Well to grow coral, or any photosynthetic organism, you need decent lights. You dont have to go for the expensive big brands like AI or kessil etc., you can look into something like this (https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/ASML-02-70W-A-S-Satellite_60675893921.html). Lights are definitely the most expensive thing in this hobby, so something like this is pretty cheap when compared to other big brands.

Ive been using this light for over a year now and im growing all types of corals. For my 30 gal tank, 1 is enough. If your tank is bigger then you might need more.

So I’ve done reading all nignt and I have came to the conclusion of glass anemone or (Aiptasia). What do you guys think.
