What is this?????

Is this flukes????? Looked like a worm crawling on my tank. I’ve posted a couple of times about my foxface having spots all over, loads of people said oh just coral stings don’t worry (Humblefish included) the fish mom in me doesn’t believe it. 3 weeks and the specs are moving, this morning they looked pimply so we pulled him out and did a freshwater bath for 4 minutes. Nothing fell off of him. We are STUMPED. This thing isn’t something I’ve ever seen before

Can be as flukes use hook to latch onto fish. Best way to determine is to give the fish a 5 minute freshwater dip in same temperature as display tank and return fish to display tank
Look on bottom of container (with a flashlight if needed) and see if you notice what looks like sesame seeds or fish scales. If you do- Those are flukes

we did this and didn’t see anything. That’s why we are kinda stumped. Would actual fish scales fall off of him during a freshwater dip?
