These dots appear to Be lympho which both fish may be due to viral or result of water quality issues. If youre overfeeding, they likely have a secondary food source. Also seeing this on scopes, not raised, I’m thinking flukes?![]()

What foods are you feeding and how much ?
Yes looks like lympho, no water quality issues but out of copper recently, I feed twice a day and not over feed, what do you mean secondary food source? I feed all PE and rods
Cestodes are internal parasites. The spot on the copperband could be a mucus plug. The spots on the Scopas's fin is something else (as that part of a fish doesn't have many mucus producing cells).
Any other symptoms with the fish at all?
Jay
The spot being gone does point to it being mucus (easily dislodged) but it may come back since we don’t know what started it.Thank you for replying.
The cbb spot is gone this morning, but I will examine again this afternoon.
Both fish are eating very well with no additional symptoms and I only noticed both yesterday.
I will get a better look tonight.
