We added a bottle of copepods 10 days ago because the tank didn't have any pods. 7 days later we noticed these tiny things all over the glass. Can someone tell me what this is? It's just ironic we've never had this on the glass before and now it happens after adding pods. Can it be pod eggs?

they look like some kind of hydroid, possibly hydroid jellies :// hard to tell from the picture. hydroid jellies eat pods, sting, and regenerate when cut. i’ve had them in a new tank but they went away on their own after 6 months. i think letting the algae grow on the glass made it harder for them to stick

I've had hydroids in my other reef tank years ago but got rid of them. This tank is about a year old and doing great, corals are going like weeds lol. But we moved so had to break it down and reset it up 2 weeks ago. After that is when this appeared on the glass but it's not on the rocks. So you think never having a problem with hydroids before and all of a sudden they appear, that it's hydroids?

Wow on hydroids !! Typically you would starve to eliminate them but I would use a plastic scraper or edge of an old credit card and scrape into a net and discard

that’s what happened to me. out of nowhere (pod population established), they started covering the glass. miracle of life innit try your best to not scrape the glass, some wrasses might eat em but they would likely prefer your pods
