Could you get images under white light (ex. with a flashlight)? Also, does the "front" of the worm have tentacles coming out?
It looks like there are little tentacles coming out. I’m about to post more pics but couldn’t get any good ones they’re really small

Both are detritivores and will act as clean-up crew. However, medusa worms become very toxic when stressed (ex. if they get sucked into powerheads).
Okay what would this come from? The only live thing i have put in there is sand. My rock was dry rock

here’s the pics

Definitely a medusa worm, with the stubbier tentacles. These have not caused any issues in my macroalgae tank yet, however I still use carbon if I think I have stressed one out too much (ex. if I accidentally dislodge one and loose track of it in the water column). I also forgot to add that these are actually a type of sea cucumber:

They may have hitchhiked on frags if you have any. Mine came on macroalgae.

They expel toxins when stressed making them bad news and need to be removed although some favor them for clean up of detritus and waste. They also eat through tissue of crab, snails and some shrimp. They share habits of sea cucumbers and can grow large
Running carbon and a skimmer reduces ay effects of toxins

I run a skimmer no carbon
