This is growing on my GSP rock. Any ideas what it is? Friend or foe and needs to go?

I have only dealt with a single aiptasia looking thing so I'm no expert.. but looks similar

Aiptasia are singles not clumps like that so no not aiptasia.

Doesn’t look like the to me. The growth is similar but the tentacles look different. I think I came across something similar when researching for something else a couple of days ago. Can’t find it now.

Definitely more like Phyllangia Americana, but still not sure. I have a couple of hidden cup corals (Phyllangia Americana) and they have a very distinct tentacles.

From pics the tentacles kinda look thornish or look solid like tunicate tubes. If that makes sense. I know they aren’t tunicates….

This is what I saw yesterday and thought was cool. I was researching different anemones in the Gulf of Mexico. Seeing the pic @mrshollyc posted made me have a flashback of the Branching Anemone. I don’t believe it’s a match comparing now. It’s more Coral/Polyps/Zoa looking.
