So last week on satirday morning i woke up and checked on my tank i found my 2 clownfish rapidly breathing on the bottom of the tank. I did a 1/3 water change the same day. Next day my fish refused to eat but on monday my female clown started eating which meant that she will probably survive. On the prher hand my male clown is swimming on his side at the top of the tank but sometimes swims diwn. I tried garlic
solution on food he took a tiny tiny nibble of frozen food but thats about it. I have to meantion that i am a heavy feeder of corals and on the friday (before this happened) i feed reef roids to my corals. Could reef roids have caused this.Shoud i put him down? He doesnt eat at all not even trying!

Yes, give us test results, and...

How long has the tank been running?
How long have you had the clowns?
Any qt?

Tank run time allmost 2 years clowns preatty much since it was first setup qt no i am not planning on adding anymore fish!I can only give nitrate results but those have been hieghered since i ran out of water and i used tap.I need to buy the rest

Can only do nitrate as i cannot buy alot of things for the tank since i am not an adult

So you have had these clowns for nearly 2 years now? No new changes or additions to the tank?

Tap water! Likely the most immediate change which I would point to as the culprit. You've had them two years, yeah that change will certainly change a lot in the tank.

IF YOU HAD TO TAKE A REEFING EXAM, WOULD YOU PASS?
