I have recently purchased a beautiful Tang but I started to notice some spots on him/her. I have had him/her for about 3 to 4 days.

The behavior is totally fine.. which is why I am confused.

Looks like rash from injury or aggression. What other occupants are in your tank and have you noticed any chasing or aggression?
I assume the fish was not purchased in this condition and looks like an onset opposed to condition.

There is a sixline wrasse and a Blenny in there.

I have not noticed any chasing. But he does like to hide in the rocks as he is still a bit shy

Rocks would be an answer as it is likely and I wonder if 6 line is harassing it. Next time you go to feed, set your cell phone on video mode for about 30 mins and drop a little food and walk away - YOU MUST walk away as they know youre there. Often the aggressor is a jerk at feeding time.
Review the video and see if this is indeed ocurring.

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

Those marks do look like minor scrapes and injuries, just try to find the culprit and watch them in case they turn into something more severe.
