No I only have this tank.

Do you have a clean bucket? They can be used as a QT.

You could do a freshwater dip to see if it's velvet. If it is, the spots will look less, but won't cure it.

RO/DI water preferred. Tap can be used if you use Prime or Amquel. Temp at DT temp. 3-4 minutes, less if the fish has labored breathing. Return to DT.

This may buy sometime till you can get some meds and equipment ready.

What does DT mean. Also I use distilled water and with this virus **** and it being 830 I am definitely not going to be able to get RO or RODI will the distilled water work? Just realized DT means display tank. Got

Looks more like Brook.

Yeah I kinda agree with you on the Brooke's. Its does look like there skin is peeling. I am going to go ahead and dip them in fresh water. For a couple minutes. And see what happens. And go from there. Can I treat them for both at the same time. Since I'm not 100 percent sure.

Yes, you can FW dip them both. Just keep an eye out if one or both are really struggling.

Well that didn't go so good. I got one in the fw dip and while I was trying to get the other I turned around after about 1min 30 sec and saw my guy floating side ways not moving. I got him out immediately and put him back in the dt and he took off but he was breathing pretty heavy. And I looked at the water I dipped him in and it was oily????

Oily probably slime and urine. The floating thing happens sometimes when doing the dip. Looks really scary, as the parasites within the fish's gills are reacting violently to the FW.

That's crazy I was sure he was dead I got ticked off instantly well at least its heard of wish me luck. I decided to dose the tank with peroxide because I can't even catch the other clown who is fast af. Wish me.luck

More info on doing FW dips

Awsome I think I'm going to give them a little time maybe move some more rock to the sump and give them 24 hours to re coup and dip them both this time
