What is wrong with my hammer coral?

I came home today and found that my corals look like this. I did a water 35 percent water change recently. Is it a salinity problem or a problem with something else like calcium? All fish are healthy as well. I have a clownfish, strawberry basslet and a cherub angelfish.

Looks like a water quality issue to me but you haven’t given much to go on.

Your nutrients look high, and knowing your parameters over a few weeks would help too.

If you went to the doctors and just asked him to diagnose what the issue was by how you looked, he wouldn’t get very far, he would ask you questions…same with your tank, a picture is not enough to help, as I said above more information about your parameters are needed.

Alkalinity
Calcium
Nitrates (no3)
Phosphates (po4)
Magnesium (not as important as the above so to speak, but good to know and good to test occasionally)

Also, a full tank shot is a nice pic to add. Let’s us see the whole picture.

In addition, what light are you running and do you know par in the tank? If you do not know par, let us know the height of the light from the water and your settings.
