What is wrong with this Hippo Tang?

So I was at my local Pediatrician’s office and I see this saltwater fish tank and inside is this Blue Tang that looks seriously messed up. Do you guys know what is wrong with this thing? I can’t do anything to help it if its diseased or something but I’m just wondering.

It looks like the case of hippo tangs in extremely high nitrates. Also looks like it’s been beaten the hell out of.

Maybe more then just that also. Frayed fins To me is a indication of low immunity.

Hahahaha yea this fish has lost his immune defense for sure. The hlle is taking over. Without improved water quality and proper nutrition or just a change in what’s been going on, this fish won’t survive.
