What is Your Biggest Mistake in the Hobby?

Mine was not understanding what interested me. I purchased Tangs, Clowns, etc. but was more interested in the cleanup crew such as shrimp and crabs. My aquascaping was such that I very rarely saw the shrimp or crabs.

Mine was lights that the company said were enough to grow LPS and BTAs. Now waiting on new lights to be delivered, and not very happy since my BTA died.
