What is your bully fish ?

So i was wondering what fish is your bully fish ? I have 4 tangs in my tank among other fish and the one that is getting on my nerves is my Sailfin tang. I got him from a local guy for free with a yellow tang and some other fish as he had issues with his rental houses roof leaking and he had to get rid of everything.

The sailfin is sbout 5 years old according to him. Well 6 now. Hes sbout max size i doubt hell grow any bigger. Hes just such a bully and bulldozer in my tank.

If i feed my tank hell try to grab every peice of food possible. If the water column is full of food from over feeding which i always do anyway. He will go up to corals that grab peices and snatch it from them. He will get crazy at night with my lights off and just the blues.

He always HAS to go right by my LPS coral and touch them or blow current from his fins in a way that iritates them closes them.

I have this goniopora that only opens on the sides and the top is closed because he keeps swiming around it and scaring the coral to close up. So i move the coral to a spot that has less traffic.. and what does the jerk do ? He keeps iritating it lol.

Such a pretty fish but really a big bully.

My blue hippo is my bully fish. Anything new she darn near will kill, and she’ll chance the other tangs I have every now and then. My tomato clowns are bullys to my hand only.

Flame angel does just enough to tell everyone he is in charge but the Royal gramma seems to be the most relentless meanest in the tank.

Kole tang picked on Starry blenny incessantly. Had to move starry to frag tank, but I feel bad because he seems lonely now. Do fish get lonely?

It was an orange spot blenny until just a week ago when I added a tomini tang. The orange spot was not really a bully but rather more of a boss fish. The tomini tang has now taken over that position. I do not see it harassing other fish but it definitely took charge when it moved in!

My Valentini puffer.. Honestly I am fairly sure he is just bored and giving them friendship nibbles. Other than that not much aggression in my tank anymore.

My Tomini Tang and a Blue Damisel. Everything new they chase them all day.

Have lost several fish by that stress. Now i try to get bigger fish which i don't like and also try to put 2 at the same time.

You have a gorgeous Sailfin Tang by the way I had one in it died from velvet sad day :-(

Sleeper Goby. I have named him Chernobyl because he turned my tank into a rendering of a nuclear winter. The jerk deliberately drops sand into my wave makers and covers EVERTHING in sand. He also makes a routine of dropping sand into my duncan (killed it) and burying my zoas - killed one set already. I had a beautiful anthia when I got Chernobyl. He lived in this cave (dome) shaped rock covered in zoas that we called the Shire. Frodo (the anthia) was happy in it's home until Chernobyl came along. Frodo has vanished. No clue what happened. Since then, he excavated al of the sand around my base rock and caused a total collapse of my aquascape. My tank looks like a pile of rubble.

Lol not funny but kinda is. i feel your pain had a sleeper head goby that covered my corals in sand killing them. So I moved him down stairs in my 210 and my lion fish ate him about a week ago sucks as I didn't want that but circle of life though hecwas big enough to be ok boy was I wrong.

Dang, I'm sorry to hear that. Chernobyl is a stunning fish - just a jerk. I had one of those circle of life moments with a tube anemone named Ursula. Alas, a red hairy leg crab named Crabzilla took her out. Chernobyl may need a new home but since he collapsed my rockwork, I can't catch the bugger without emptying the tank.

That sucks I hate digging that deep into my aquarium.
