It's isn't mine I wish it was. It is out of a family friends tank.Your Forest Fire is beautiful. I want one once I get my new build going![]()
I'd love to see a pic of this. I really like birds of paradise and especially if it's a fast grower, it should be super healthy looking. c:
The first picture is about what I started with in June, 2015. The second is the mother colony, which I just accidentally fragged by dropping a new ceramic frag rack on it. Both pix are in my main tank which has a lot of violet in the light (dunno how to correct this out).
The 3rd was a small frag a few months ago and is growing up in my nanocube with only white and royal blue lights. I have too many frags of this coral.

What conditions do you keep your duncan in. I have had mine for a month now and haven't seen any change at all. It dose stay open all of the time unless a crab bumps it.I would say my Duncan and fluffy morphs
I had my duncan in moderate flow. 18" under the center of a 250 halide. It grew from 3 heads to 12 in around 4 months then randomly purple slimed. Strange thing was it's the only thing that did. Kinda sucks because I loved how fast and the way that mini colony was growing. What conditions do you keep your duncan in. I have had mine for a month now and haven't seen any change at all. I'm pretty sure that the monti pictured is a samarensis not a digitata.A "Green Slimer" is a SPS coral and a "fire digi" is a Forest Fire Montipora Digitata. Below are examples, not out of my tank.
