Bullet hole Clowns are my favorite. You can see one mine in my profile pic.

I have a hybrid between an Ocellaris male and lightening Maroon female. He’s a juvenile right now, but one can already tell that he’s picked up the lightening pattern from its mom. He has a deep red body, glowing red eyes, and black fins with bright orange edges. He looks like a vampire, so I named him Damien.

I’m very excited about him and he’s easily my favorite clown in the tank. My only concern is that he might become aggressive as he matures. I’ll just have to watch for that.

I just stick with true percula. I have a mated pair in each tank. The older pair have lost most of their orange.

No oscellaris love?? DANG that’s my favorite: keep it classic..... but them mocha vincis are the sh!+ !!!

Plain ole natural Clowns of any type. Designer stuff is for those not knowing any better.. :) Honestly, I got so sick and tired of over priced designer freshwater stuff.. (Bettas, Discus, guppies, LONG FIN anything.. I was sick of do it for a buck.. ) You can imagine all the negatives that got bred into some of those things. I wanted Saltwater because I felt there would be less of that and then .. CLOWNS.. sigh..

My favorites though in this order.. A. occalaris, Cinnamon and Tomato.. Sebae and that group. dead last is anything created in a tank.. I am prejudiced for certain on man made Junk..

First off : No tank bred freaky looking misfits for me , ever ..that being said - changes over the yrs...once I've had 'em and enjoyed them for a while..bicinctus,leukocranos,but my all time favorites were the Melanopus clowns that used to come in from vanuatu..unlike the common variety we see...the vanuatu melanopus have a beautiful flame red/orange appearance with a blue frontal stripe..look them up - they are amazing !

I love all tomato clowns but I constantly read reports about how aggressive they are and I don't think they would be good companions for my 4 dwarf angels and 3 ocellaris.

Do they all age into not so pretty fish, losing red, getting darker and with thinner white bands?

Regarding all the Chernobyl/Fukushima variants, I have a hard time finding the beauty in them.

I love my frostbite and onyx clownfish pair. They are so cool

Regular old classic percula clownfish for me. I have nothing against the others, but I just love the classic stripes.

I like the Perculas, but the Picasso's are my favorite. I just picked up a new pair. One Picasso and one Picasso Extreme.

Just brought them home today.

I really like my long fin clowns. Only ones I have ever had that don't attack anything placed in the tank and they are just really pretty.
