I bought these gloves on amazon and absolutely love them. Atlas 772 Nitrile Coated Gloves 26 inch Long Cotton Lined, Chemical Resistant, Water, Pond, Work, Large https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TED7DG8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_gTJ9Ab118MY7R

I had the clunky red and blue ones in the past and never felt like I got the dexterity I needed.

So what is something I can waste some money on and make reef keeping more enjoyable.

A pair of tongs and a turkey baster from the dollar tree. It keeps my hands out when I need to grab/move things, blow detritus, etc off rocks/sand and/or suck stuff out of the tank.

Has anyone found a cheap long turkey baster. I have a glass 10 inch one but wanted a longer one but not really looking to spend a lot since my regular baster works good enough.

Mine is about that length, too. It's plastic.

I have on I got a fish store it was 20$ and it’s 24” long and retractible.

My best purchase was a $10 frag if montipora. I've probably gotten 20 frags of of it in under 6 months. It literally pays for itself over and over

Man you are really making it difficult by saying under $20! I absolutely love my Duncan coral, got it as a 2 polyp frag for $15 I think but it’s bigger than a softball and probably over 50 polyps! Favorite reef tool is my long tongs, stainless steel BBQ tongs that cost 17.99 if I remember correct.

My all time favorite is my Foscam but it was like $80. Nothing like live streaming your fish tank to your cell phone at work!

These for sure!

Look at the other post I made. These have been awesome

My favorite reef purchase for under $20 has been my kitchen scale and graduated cylinder for making Randy's refractometer calibration solution. This has been the cheapest yet most important investment for testing parameters.

Good thread. I have gotten quite a few corals under 20 bucks mostly acans, montis, zoas, chalices and enjoy looking at all of them.

I love the dollar store for glue, turkey basters, tongs and clamps.

Peppermint shrimp did a great job on my aptasia.

I love chromis fish and firefish for under 20.

pair of reading glasses from the dollar store.now I can see all the details in my corals, fish, rock ,inverts and dirty glass.i had no idea I was "tank blind".

Mine would be my Jason Fox lepto for $5 and equipment would be my $15 grabber to move things around the tank.
