Just a general discussion thread!

What are all of your favourite underrated SW fish/inverts?

I got thinking about this after I saw one of my favourite SW fish in my LFS! A Domino damsel! Sure they’re bullies but you can’t deny their beauty! Not a fish I would ever keep in a community but a fish I for sure love! They’re a very underrated fish in my opinion :)

So I would like to hear what your guys favourite underrated fish are!?

I love my talbot damsels and my azure damsels. Both very peaceful and funny at times to watch. Especially the talbots. They like clearing sand under rocks for a little home.
How do your azure and talbot get along? Great little personalities

Tail Spot Blenny - they're adorable and they have so much personality. Mine's great at eating algae, wouldn't dream of hurting my coral, and is exceptionally peaceful.

It's also small for a blenny so it fits perfectly in my little BioCube 32.

Do not bother each other at all. I have a 210g 7ft tank though. They stay in separate areas. The talbots like to be near the sand bed and the azures like up in the rocks higher.
Only one that bothers the talbots is my lawnmower blenny that will steal their little hidey hole every now and then. Very funny to watch the talbot try to get it out. IT ignores the pleas. :)

Underrated fish in my opinion are chalk bass and flame hawk, the flame hawk has such a cute face and the chalk bass has beautiful blue stripes which really shine when the light catches it.

Corbina. They taste like a cross between a lobster and Ahi.

For a tank my favorite would be the Barnacle Blenny. They have fun behavior to watch and they interact well with others inside and outside of their tank.

For dramatic beauty I love the majestic angel in a tank. In the ocean all of these creatures have inherent beauty, which is why I think folks get Reefer Madness?

what’s not to love, expect Perhaps a slippery hagfish.

Chalk bass has my vote as well. Great community fish!

Chalk bass are one of my favourite fish!

Cardinals! The luminous cardinal in paricular is incredible. SOme people might say it looks like a freshwater fish, but I don't see that as a problem:

They look a bit like the glass catfish (freshwater fish). As a freshwater enthusiast as well, I don’t see it as a problem!
