What Is Your Most Difficult Equipment to Maintain?

As I was cleaning my Reef Octopus eSsence S-130 skimmer, I noticed that a buildup of organics appears to hang around through vinegar baths, citric acid baths, and even muriatic acid baths. I am unable to remove the buildup, even with pipe cleaners because of the shape and narrowness of the openings that lead to the inside of that area. Below, you can see the buildup within the body of the skimmer:

I'm still trying to find a solution for removing the buildup, and, in the meantime, it led me to think about what other pieces of equipment can be quite challenging to clean. So, what equipment is most challenging for you to maintain?

Skimmer for me. Some days it just goes nuts and starts bubbling over. Making a decision to turn it off or let it run its coarse.

As far as difficult piece of gear to maintain - nothing really once it's dialed in. Lights can be tricky and getting flow right, lots of trial & error. I did buy a par meter & that helped. Flow on the other hand is tricky - what looked like too much flow made my corals happy. I have a frogspawn that started as 2 heads and barely grew, cranked up the flow for my SPS and it literally exploded. It's got 20+ heads and is the size of a volleyball.
