What's going to be your first big hobby purchase in 2015?

I'm planning to upgrade my lights from the RB & W Chinese LED fixtures I have over my anemone tank to some radions! :D

Not sure what order yet, but I have multiple purchases: 1 90gallon RR tank and a JBJ 45 rimless. Both are around $400. I'm currently building stands for both. The JBJ will also need a skimmer and seahorses. The 90 will need a larger sump than my 10 gal DIY...I'm thinking a 30 gal.

An ATO and maybe the new Gyre

New lights on the 125...any suggestions for a 72" tank would be appreciated! I like my T5 Aquatic life 4 bulb on the 55g...but I made a noob mistake and bought current orbit LEDs for the 125...

New powerheads/return plumbing for the 40b...in search of more flow

New powerheads/sand (went bare bottom to start) and a mantis shrimp for the 29g display refugium

ATO for the 55 and 40b with kalkwasser reactors...tired of putting in capfuls of liquid calcium supplements...

Lots of new corals!

I better start saving my money!

gyre xf130

20 gal nuvo aquarium kit

neptune dosing pump

Just bought a 4 stage dosing pump lol looking to upgrade to an apex controller now and change up the light fixture! Happy new year

Kessil upgrade (really looking forward to their panel light) I'm debating on getting an a160 or to wait. Possibly CAD lights artisan aquarium. We'll see what I'm allowed to spend for the year.

Just purchased a Vortex Omega 150 for my new 93 gallon cube build! Next is the custom 24 gallon 24x15x15 acrylic sump then sand for the DSB!

For me it will be a lot of 3/4" and 1/2" cell cast acrylic to fabricate a new larger Display Tank and Sump/Fuge respectively. Then enough Cherry solid stock to complete a new stand matching the DT's for an improved hidden ATO and more aesthetic Frag Tank setting. And of course need to have all this complete before Salmon fishing season opens up.

Cheers, Todd

I have most of the equipment for my new tank, so my money will be spent on fish and coral this year [emoji3]

for the first time ever ill retire my 1999 power compacts and go par 38 :) on my pico, later on in the year. hard to let those hot running buggers go lol.

ill do the switch when I have a spare hundred bucks, i need to retro a nice mount for it too from the ceiling to look nice but thats the plan. from power compact to led yay

i think im 5 yrs behind the mark of when everyone else jumped.

I don't really need much on mine. I could add some more fish and coral for sure. I do want to supplement my reef breeders with 4 t5 ho

I've got a ton of stuff coming this month. New reef octopus dc return pump. A xf150 maxspect gyre. A sweet acro pack from battle corals and a sweet PIF pack from TJ's Reef . My tank is getting pimped for sure.

I also plan on adding a couple more wrasse ' s and a pair of clowns. Reef is not a reef without clowns.
