What is your summer tank cooling strategy?

I have one in an any air conditioned room I have a large fan on it controlled by the Apex, I have seen it as high as 87 but no problems so far. only a couple pieces of SPS in it mostly LPS abs soft coral, and fish. The new build has AC but when I am not home I leave the AC set at 76 tank is running at 81 right now I can see from my Apex

I don't like to set the window AC up until we have to so If it's just one day I freeze some salt water in a ziplock and if the tank temp gets over 80 I'll float a bag in the sump.

That is usually my normal strategy....yanking the A/C out of the closet when it is sweltering. I have some frozen plastic bottles always on hand. This heat wave is happening on my 2nd anniversary this weekend, granted we are only staying a mile away and have a pet sitter, but I really don't want to leave the wife to check on the fish tank;).

Here in Michigan temps are form 75-90, ac on during the hot days. My tanks is down in the basement so temps stay around 78-79 without fans. #mancave

Just got an inkbird, alarm went off today for the first time when the tank hit 81F. Gonna buy a small fan for the tank to help with the cooling..

But my tank stays at around 78.5 at night and climbs to about 80.5f
