Green Hair Algae. I keep hoping I figure out a way to get rid of it. It's much better that it used to be, since the tank is now 1 year old, but it still keeps on growing. I thought for sure my refugium would get rid of it, but it hasn't so far. It will awesome if I ever win this battle.

I have battled GHA over the past 2 years as well and stumbled across the threads on the use of Fluconazole. I had about 80% of my live rock covered in 1”+ GHA. Dosed my tank and within about 25 days it was 100% gone! Absolutely no harm to any of my fish, invertebrates, or corals.

Devonshire Cup coral - was an exciting hitch hiker and I fed it and fed it and it multiplied and multiplied and was so pretty - went from two to 13 heads in a year. Stings about as bad as a jellyfish! Puts out sweepers at night that can reach anything within 4-5”. Non photosynthetic so it’s game 24 hours a day. Bought tools last week to try and get them out.

Where did you get the Fluconazole? I'm thinking it might be worth a try. It seems like I'm starving the tank and it still won't go away.

Finalizing my aquascape so I can start my tank is my biggest nemesis! Can't find a place that sells completed pieces that aren't made of concrete! I have the right side piece done, but no matter what I do the left looks like garbage! Going back to my 3rd favorite LFS wednesday to see if they have any giant blobs that I can drill some caves in and say screw what it looks like lol.

Second. I have aptasia and a giant worm in my live rock in the small tank, so that rock won't be going into my new tanks main display. I will chop it up and put it in my CPR refugium!

Bubble algae in my 14g nano. Don't want to risk emerald crab going ham and can use rabbitfish since the tank is too dang small. Manually removing them seems to be the only way, but they get in crevices which I can't seem to reach. :[

Derbesia sp. Nothing seems to eat it but H2O2 works wonders. I wish I could scrub all my rocks and start over. GFO keeps it from growing to fast but it also slows my coral growth that used to be spectacular right before my tank turned into a green hairy mess.

I've had zero issues with my emerald! You could use him to handle the bubble issue and always donate him back to your LFS or get a credit possibly. I love my little crab!

My lfs told me i could try a small crab, but... he then asked, how im going to get him out afterwards once hes grown.

Although they do move quickly it isn't impossible to catch them. Do you have a ton of tiny spaces in your rock work? You could do a trap or wait until it roams around the substrate. Mine liked when I had fake plants in there and would climb all over them. Easy to catch once they came off the rock. Just have to be careful, they latch their claws on their legs to the rock and its really easy to injure them at that point...

Turbo snails they are multiplying too fast, at night after the lights go off you can see a wall of zombie snails on the glass and they keep knocking new frags

Mine is a 20 year old Damsel who was my first saltwater fish that cycled my current tank. He was 1/2" when I got him and now he's 4-5".

Everything I add to the tank, he checks it out, bullies it and then moves it. Any frag I add must be glued down or it is on the tank floor by the next morning. Once he realizes it is glued, he leaves it alone. Same with new fish. Drives me crazy. Bites me every time I put my hand in the tank. He's going to loose his happy home one of these days.

Mine is vermetid snails. My last tank had hundreds of these that came and went. My current tank that's 6 months old started with mostly dry rock, dry sand, and a few pieces of carefully inspected live rock. All corals and frags were also inspected and dipped, yet I'm now experiencing a booming population of them.

Last week I got an Apex alert that my backup ATO float switch was on. Went in for inspection and saw the main float switch still in the low position. Pulled the switch and notice a vermetid snail had grown on it and jammed it. Also today I decided to do a frag mounting session as all the frags were doing good where I placed them. Didn't pick up a piece of live rock or frag that didn't have a snail on it.

I think they're multiplying because of my increased feedings to try and raise nutrients. Hopefully once I achieve that and find a nice balance I can back off and the population will be more manageable like my last tank.

What are you currently dealing with and how do you plan on remedying?

Mine too.
Had them growing on Hermit Crab's shell as well
If rock is loose I take it out and crush it.
If I can't pull the rock out I cover the Vermetid's with 2 part epoxy.
