Hallo Cu!

I don't know the german translation but here is the raw translation of "granular ferric oxide" from google translate:

körnigen Ferrioxid

Ich hoffe, es hilft!

Hello,is the "gfo" for PO4 reduction? cu Torsten

P.S Cu is Goodbye or bb or Hello and Thx for the answer

gfo is used to reduce phosphate which is what algea uses to grow. people will tell me that they have algea but no phosphate. it is because the algea is eating the phosphate giving you a zero reading. phosphates in my opinion are no good unless you are using them to grow a certain algea and you have controll over said algea. as far as having phosphate in a reef tank goes. this is a big no no.

Es tut mir Leid, aber, ich weiss es nicht.

I can give you a very rough translation though:
das Ferrioxid körnig

This, I believe translates as ferric oxide granulated/granular/grainy.
