Im am looking to add a kalk reactor to my 425 gallon system I run a cal reactor now which I love and know how to dial it in pretty good but I cant seam to get my tank ph over 8.09 .I use kalk in my ato right now but im not consistant with adding it all the time I .feel like if I had a kalk reactor I can be more on top of it and I wouldnt have to add kalk everytime I make r/o water .my thing is which style to go with do I go with the stirrer type like the avet or the pump type like the geo ..whats the benifits to each ? What do you guys use? .the only disadvatage I can see with the pump type is the ato turning on right after the pump for the kalk reactor just went one and it dosing the tank with the kalk slurry ...I do have an apex controller that controls my system and the ato so im thinking maybe I would have to figure out how to tell the ato not to turn on if the kalk pump was just on ...anyways any help or recommendations would get me moving on this issue thanks ...*

I am in the process of setting up a AvastMarine K-1 for my tank.

Kalk stirrers are the way to go! I have a Avast Marine K-2 available if you are interested. I purchased 2 of them and only needed 1. It was used for about 4 days so its basically brand new. If you are interested let me know and I can save you some cash on a basically new stirrer.
