Dear reefers,
I just added a male anthias to my DT after going through my regural QT (2xGC & copper ). The sequence of events was as follows:
Day 1: I heavily fed the tank and introduced the fish with lights off for 2 hours.
Day 2: I noticed the anthias hiding in a corner and swimming vertically upwards.
Day 3: The fish is swimming normally but hides as I approach the tank.
Day 4: Fish is hiding under a rock and I noticed its tail to be damaged.
Day 5: Fish is on the sand and breathing heavily until it died .
Could it be that the fish was being attacked this whole time? I do have a yellow tang and a female clownfish who I have seen attack previous fish before.
Please see the attached picture.
Thanks
