What killed my Yellow Tang ???

Right I’m leaning towards a bacterial infection. I have a clown in QT what should I treat for? Thanks and happy reefing~Matt

It started while it was still alive.

Well, based on the pics there was definitely blood pooling under the skin (bruising); and if I had to guess an infection of some sort was the underlying cause. Sorry for your loss

Are any of your other fish showing signs of anything like this?? Are any symptoms of any diseases?

The tang was showing some signs of ick which I was about to start treating for but the only thing I had was coppersafe and after seeing the thread about it didnt know if I should use it. What should I use to treat the clown?

I would use Copper Power or Cupramine, as their dosage info seems to be more accurate at this point in time.
