I bought a school of Anthias from a very reputable quaruntine vendor. One hid from almost the very beginning until he eventually died. These are my first edition to the tank other than my magnificent foxface i have had for years that I introduced to this new system after fishless cycling to keep the bio filter turning.
The male anthias is a bit of demon so maybe he just killed it, but would like some second opinions.

I was afraid of that. Kind of disappointed. Big name “quarantiner”

Uronema is a tough one, there is NO quarantine or treatment that can cure the internal form of this disease. We are seeing more of it in the past two years. My suspicion is that increased handling and shipping times due to Covid is causing this uptick.

Luckily, it isn't really contagious, so you may avoid issues with your other anthias.

Thank you Jay. Will feed them well and hope for the best.
