This stuff appeared after I moved my rock and coral to seperate Rubbermaid tank from display.

I don’t think it’s byropsis, spring up fast about 1-2 weeks after moving them. Almost looks like crab grass from outside.

hi,sea lettuce?

It's actually Ulva which is an easily cared for green macroalgae, that can survive extended periods of darkness, up to a week and fluctuations in temperature and low light. It will do best under 3 watts per gallon or more, and if yopu want to anchor it down to a rock, or shell - You can do this by attaching it with super glue

Lol I never introduced this (intentionally at least)

started to grow after I put this coral and rock in a tub to go fallow. The algae is growing everywhere and is starting to cover corals. How do I “rid” this?

Oh yeah- take one root stuck to the rock and you have Growth !

Tuxedo urchin will eat it, and also wear it. Manual removal is semi-effective, but a tuxedo urchin will absolutely plow through it. They don't get large or sharp, so they're fine in most tanks, though they do occasionally carry small frags around. Reef-safe aside from moving things. Once the ulva is gone, they should do fine on eating just regular algae. They will quite possibly scratch acrylic with their beaks, though.

Check ReefCleaners.com for other things that eat delicate macros. I think their pitho crabs also will?
