Apologies if this is a super obvious question. I've been searching and googling and can't seem to find an ID....

I have these long, thin, red feathery-looking things that started growing on my live rock...any ideas what they are? My tank has been set up just a little over one month.

Maybe some lettuce algae for the green. I'm not as familiar with the reds – though the slimy reds are probably cyanobacteria.

After doing some reading, it sounds like it might be OK to let it live in the tank....what do you think? I don't particularly mind it...it's sort of interesting actually. [emoji848]
It is actually ok. Your tank after all.
The only prob I ever had with nice macros in the dt was my CUC ate them.
Cuz I'm dum an chose the wrong CUC really.

And yea I'm the guy who made a chato tree and put it in the dt for the Mandy's and pipes to snack on pods.

Oh yea and the gorg Skelton covered in dictoya. That's was nice. My pipe loved it.
