What kind of algae is this?

What kind of algae is this? Tank is 3 weeks old. Just added some blue legs today. It's on glass, overflows, and sand.

Not a good thing, try to siphon them off with a small tubing.

They will take over your tank slowly and bother your corals as in stinging them.

Some what true but those are the colonial hydroids.

So what can I do? I'm sure these came from rock that I got... I'm sure there's a lot on the rocks.

So it turned out to be bryopsis... the stems grew into fern looking shapes.... so this should be fun.
