I am a month into my aquarium and used aquacultered live rock, established live rock from LFS and some dry rock along with live sand. We had a very quick cycle and tank is holding steady on 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, and 10 nitrates. We do weekly water changes. We currently only have inverts in the tank as we are going for a target species that requires a mature stable tank so we feed our inverts and are consistently seeing these parameters stay steady
We have refugium that houses chateo (sp?) as well.
We started to see Diatoms last week (maybe a little more) and are now noticing this algae appear on some of the rocks and the back glass.
What kind of algae is it and is there anything I need to do?
