What kind of algae is this?

I ordered some rock from Tampa Bay Saltwater. The rock contained a few types of macro algae which most just withered away after it blew off the work. However, there was one that was firmly attached to the rock and survived. What is this algae? It doesn’t bother me and it will likely stay. Just trying to identify it so I can read up on its properties. I think what peaked my interest was that it recently started showing these round buds on the end. Don’t know what that means either. All info welcome.

Looks like either derbesia or Green Chlorophyte algae similar in nature to caulerpa and both harmless and make great Tang food

Looks like Sargassum Seaweed. If so, it needs intense lighting.

This is most definitely the macro algae on my rock. The pic even shows the same round buds. I just don't know what the buds are.
