What kind of algae is this ?

I’ve been having this type of algae for a while. I noticed it seems to propagate more when I add phyto. Or maybe it’s just a coincidence. There are little specs of it on the sand, rock and equipment. Sometimes it clumps together, like on the powerhead in the picture.

Nobody seems to want to eat it. What is it ?

Its either a macro algae known as ulva or the skin of bubble algae. If you have no bubble algae present - then ulva

You can pull it, or add a fish such as tomini tang, small one spot rabbit or even liquid Vibrant which I do not favor to stop its growth

Kole tang ? Mine doesn’t seem to be touching it.

I'd just leave it.

It usually doesn't get out of control since it's very palatable.

I'd steer away from Vibrant since it's just algaecide and can potentially wipe our your tank.

It is a good nutrient exporter. I would keep it, maybe net it out and place in sump with light.

Kole tang ? Mine doesn’t seem to be touching it.

Kole is it and miss with hair but great for rock and glass
