What kind of frogfish do I have?

I bought this frogfish about 2 weeks ago and they said it was a hairy frogfish. Which I know it’s not one but I don’t know if it’s the giant frogfish or a warty frogfish because from everything I’ve seen it looks more like a warty based on its features. It has the same lure, the front dorsal spines are the same and the same wart patterns as a warty frogfish. He’s about 2 inches right now.

The warty actually has raised bumps that resemble warts. I can't see the pic closely enough to see the patterns. At that size it could also be a painted angler, they come in black with the fuzzy bits, you can see what looks like eyehole patterns on the tail. The black with white toe nails could also be a commersons, they look alot like a painted at that size, but no eyehole markings on the tail. Wartys don't usually come in solid black, I'm leaning painted or commerson's. There is no such as hairy, there's a sargassum that one could call a hairy, I guess, but it's not that one. When I get back home I’ll take some better pictures but all videos I’ve seen on YouTube it looks like the giant frogfish to me like you said.

I know this is an old thread, but it appears to be a painted to me. Definitely not a giant, and the warty has a very different second dorsal spine. My vote is painted, 99% sure.
Any updates on the little guy?
