What kind of sponge?

What exactly is this sponge? Is it easy to keep? Any supplemental feeding needed?

It's red in color no need for light i think....

Is it hardy ? I have other black sponges in my DT.... thriving.

Red Tree Sponge.

Requires constant feedings of fine particulates.


Very difficult to keep long term, considered expert only.

If you are thinking of getting it have the shop hold it for 2 or 3 weeks in case it has been exposed to the air at any point in it's travels, it takes a while for them to die if they have been in the air.
