Seems like a bristle but I've never seen a black one.

Thanks. Is that something I wouldn't want in my tank?Bristleworm or bristle worm is a term that covers a huge number of worms (all of the taxonomic class Polychaeta - this class includes the taxonomic order Phyllodocida, which also includes the family Phyllodocidae - A.K.A. paddleworms, which vetteguy mentioned). This worm is definitely a bristle worm.
To me this looks like the worm Amphinome rostrata (A.K.A. the Caterpillar Fire Worm - painful sting with the bristles). Pictures of this species vary pretty drastically, and I'm not sure if it's a juvenile/adult coloration thing or something else (like multiple species being conflated into one), but about half of the photos of I've seen of it look similar to this. Amphinome rostrata are predatory carnivores that typically live around and prey on goose barnacles (I'd imagine they feed on other things too, probably preferring crustaceans - particularly if there are no barnacles around, but barnacles are the only thing I can find confirmed that they prey on).
Edit: Here's a link with some pictures:

I'd imagine you probably wouldn't want it in your tank, but I don't know for sure (again, the only thing I know for sure that it eats are goose barnacles).Thanks. Is that something I wouldn't want in my tank?
Oh ok. Thanks!I'd imagine you probably wouldn't want it in your tank, but I don't know for sure (again, the only thing I know for sure that it eats are goose barnacles).
Personally, I think it'd be a pretty cool sump monster, so I'd try to trap it, move it to the sump (making sure it can't get back to the display), and see if you can get it eating something (I know places sell goose barnacles, and I'd probably get a few of those, but I'd probably try getting it to eat with shrimp and/or crab meat first).
