Found this guy in my sump last night somehow under where the silicone and glass meet. It was about 1 inch in length

When I tried to grab it with tweezers it tore in half and the remaining part in the tank still wiggled around

What the heck is it and how worried should I be? Tank had been running since 05/2018. First time I've seen any kind of worm like this.

Common bristle worm. Wont do any harm, they can be an eye sore and can reproduce quickly if you're feeding aquarium heavily. Some people hate them and some don't. Just personal preference.

I've made the decision in all my knowledge and experience that it is a common bristleworm. LoL thanks guys!! I pulled it out cuz that thing is ugggggggly glad it was only in the sump. I'll keep an eye out in DT in the future. I definitely don't want them getting out of control, yuck! Any natural predators, or I just need to keep my feedings in check?
Thanks!
