I was googling Bristle worms and I'm thinking it might be a baby one, but it looks way too white and has stripes that are prominent on it.

Is this a Bristle worm about 2 inches above my Hammer?

Pic sort of distant but looks like a cousin of bristleworm - Dorvillidae worm

When I google bristle worms and Dorv worms, they look a little different than this guy. I tried to actually pull it out and seclude it until I ID it, but as soon as I did it just broke into 3 parts and died instantly. Not sure really. The closest thing I could find was an article thread that had something similar but it was never truly ID'd.

You stated it broke apart. Hmmmm did it look like this Sipunculid peanut worm below?

I don't think so, I've looked everywhere and can't find it. I'm highly doubting I just discovered a new worm thing in my tank..

But I can't find it anywhere. It's only about 1mm thick, MAYBE 2mm thick, and it was about 1.5 inches long. Little legs like a centipede but not as long as centipedes or bristles, a prominent white rounded body like a millipede. I'm stumped.

Is it an arm from a brittle star?
I don't believe so. I don't have any stars in the tank.. When I reached down to take it out (aquarium tongs) it moved around the rock you see and then very easily broke off into 3 sections, one of which floated in the water column.. :( I'm worried if these guys are good or bad, if I saw one there's bound to be more.. Haven't seen them before and used Live rock to start tank, and carib sea sand. No ocean water, all mixed Fritz salt. Tank is about 3 months old.

This is the closest thing I could find, and I'm still not certain it's this...

Syllidae SubFamily : Eusyllinae

It does look a lot like this, but I'm not quite sure mine looks longer and thinner? Ugh
