While I do not have a waterbox... I have an Innovative Marine 30 gallon. I use 3 kessil A80 tuna blues. seems to be adequate at he moment. We'll see how it does with some new Acroporas that will be here Tuesday.

I have never looked into kessil before i might have a look i have a single imai prime hd at the moment just not sure its enough and wanted to see if any better options before i just buy another ai prime hd

the 3 Kessil's that i have are just 15 watts each. I am running their controller as well. I think all 3 lights with the controller and gooseneck mounts were just under 500.00 they do throw a lot of light in the smaller tanks. However, I'm getting a GHL Profilux 4 controller soon. I really thinking about switching to 2 small GHL Mitras for lighting. The 7604's I think are the model number. They are much higher wattage and have a lot more tuneability. Albeit, just one light costs more than all of the kessil equipment that i have.

Yeah I was looking at the apex one. Ino the price is crazy cost more than the full tank for lighting

The only reason I am going to consider dumping that kind of money is because they amount of money I have spent on corals for this tank. I spent 650.00 on frags from WWC 2 weeks ago. Then another 700.00 friday night during the flash sale. I have also probably spent well over 1500.00 at the local places recently. I do this all for my son. My wife and I were building a tank for ourselves.... key word were! but we got excited with his and haven't stopped pouring money into it.

Yeah i can see it worth it with that amount of money on corals in tank. Haha best way mate get the wife involved and hope she gets addicted to buying corals aswell least ya dont have to buy them on the sneak haha. Post a pic of ya tank
