What lighting do you think?

I have a mixed reef with an aquatic life t5 fixture over my tank now. The fixture has 12 3' t5s in it and everything seems to grow well but I miss the shimmer of LEDs that I had in my smaller reef. Im considering a hybrid solution. Would 8 3' t5s and three hydra 26s work or would I need 4 26s? My dimensions are 72"x24"x18. Thank you for your input in advance.

If you miss the shimmer of leds I'd go kessil. There is no better than kessil when it comes to led shimmer. 8 t5s and a couple a360s would be an awesome combo

I agree with that. Kessils are the best shimmer I have seen but I have been under the impression they do not grow sps that well.

They grow sps just fine, even better with t5s around them

Ok sooo.. I am back to the same dilemma. How many kessils would you put on a 6' tank?

On a 6 foot tank with t5s I would do 4 or 5 depended on your goals
