What is this growing in my tank?

Yes it's bryopsis. If it is localized to one rock I would pull that rock out and deal with it. If not it will spread throughout the entire tank pretty fast. The only thing that has worked for me while in the tank was fluconozole. I used reef flux on two tanks with great success.

Bryopsis for sure. It looks like you used dry rock so this must have come in on something. Have any new frag plugs with this algae on them?

All live rock. So sure it was on there.

I removed mine with peroxide, though it only grew on the glass. If you can remove that rock, pluck it off and drop some peroxide on it then you should be good to go.

No a tang won't eat it. Neither will crabs or snails. I've tried everything before resorting to chemical treatment.
