What makes a happy torch?

I have a total of 3 torches, indo gold, green torch, and holy grail. The indo gold and green torch seem upset, they aren't opening nearly as much as they used to. I have moved them around a bit and let them set for 3 days total to see if it would get any better. As of now they are till retracted a bit. No signs of colors loss or tissue loss.

Are they just "growing/splitting?"
And what do the usually look like when doing so.

Are they dying?

I have a few frag dips by brightwell aquatics, should I try them?

Lastly what makes your torchs happy and growing? I really want a huge colony of them.

Pictures would help a lot. Your light could be a little bright or they could still be acclimating to the light. Your flow could be to low? Could also be your water parameters.

I have not adjusted the flow. They've been in the same light for quite some time now, but I lowered them anyway. I'll attach a screenshot below of my parameters one sec.

I had for roughly 2 weeks, and worried time wasn't going to help here I moved them. Not to mention my other corals hammers, frog spawn, acan, and montipora all seem alright.

So I'll just let them sit?

Wave or random, multidirectional, not constant flow. 200 par, some nutrients.

It can take well more than 2 weeks for a euphyllia to get comfy. Def leave them alone.

I've had the indo, and green for a little over 6 months.

Your magnesium is around 700-900ppm low.

Edit: which as I think about it, it has to be a false reading. If you’re doing water changes I don’t know how you’d even get that low.

Flows good then. Par is a little low at 160.

My torches gets upset when phosphates bottoms out or are really low

I have 2 really nice sized colonies of Duncan's in 2 locations in my tank. For about the past week they have retracted. My plan....LEAVE THEM ALONE!

Well going by majority, I'm going to leave them alone and hope for the best, thanks again.
