I noticed this in my tank today in one or two spots. It kind of rubs off but mostly sticks together. Kinda white and silicone type looking stuff

It’s actually really tough to see in the pics as it seems to blend in with the rock

Most definitely more squishy and springy. Not slimy at all

Then some kind of sponge seems likely. Photos are not the clearest.

So I did some digging on here and found some snail egg photos. Cerith to be specific and that’s exactly what they looked liked. Thanks for all the help and attempted help with my less than useful pics everyone
