Okay, so I have a Red Sea max nano and at this rate I’m going with just 1-2 SPS (Both Staghorns just separate colours - 1 Green and 1 Blue). I have 3 LPS (Duncan, Hammer, Candy Cane/Caulastrea) and 4 Mushrooms (Rhodactis - Green, Ricordea Florida, Ricordea Yuma, Discosoma - Blue). I have a thing for mushrooms now, I got my rhodactis this weekend and it is fuelling the mushroom addiction. I would like some more mushroom corals, preferably seperate genera. Now I realise R. Florida doesn’t fit the “bill” of what I mainly want and it is possible to bend the rules but I would rather have mushrooms with these in mind:
- Native to indonesia
- Not TOO invasive but will grow at a nice pace
- Different genus to those I own already
- Moderate price tag
- Different colour(s) to what I own already

Now, I’m aware over here (UK) price tags aren’t the same as in the US but I have found they’re similar to eachother so if I had an idea of what just one polyp head may be worth over there I could figure out what price it would go for over here. Also, if you own the species you’re recommending then I’d love photos!

The colours I own currently are:
- Green
- Blue
- Yellow-ish
- Orange

I will attach photos later tomorrow (My lights don’t come on until late and I’m not there most of the time when they’re on until about 4 hours later).

Get a St. Thomas. Theyre cool come in many colors and are kinda like hairy mushrooms. Also hairy mushrooms are a good option but most St. Thomas come from Indonesia. Hairy mushrooms as well. Both are great and different from what you have.

Since I never really added photos of the current guys, here they are:

They look great! I wish I could give you some discos. I have too many. A couple are the size of dessert plates when happy. What do you think of the st Thomas or hairy mushrooms?

I think that I’ll have to keep an eye out for them! I love mushrooms so much and at this rate my tank really is heading towards the mushroom dominant I wanted originally haha
